Funny how Thursday suddenly turns into Saturday, without all of the things getting checked off of my to-do list that I was so very positive would be done by now! But in the spirit of good things being better received late than not at all, I did still want to quickly pop in and share a sneak peek at the upcoming issue of Alphabet Glue.
Volume Nine is a fun and quirky combination of projects for writers, artists, naturalists and aspiring spies. From periscopes to an exploration of the role of robots in modern children's literature, there is a bit of something on offer for kids (and grown-ups) with a wide variety of interests in this issue, and I have to say, it is one of my favorites to date. There are boats to sail, stacks of simple books to make, plant presses that are equal parts functional and super easy to put together. Volume Nine has imagination, intrigue, paperfolding, a bit of science, and of course, many, many good book recommendations.
Along with the launch of this issue, I'll be finally launching the new Alphabet Glue website as well. I'll also be having a very special giveaway to celebrate the new landing place for my beloved project, so do check back on Monday morning for that.
See you on the other side of Sunday with new Glue in hand!
