This past weekend we took a short family car trip to a town about an hour and half from here. A "family explore" as Dan and Mariam like to call it. On the way, Mariam noted that she had packed a small bag for the occasion. She said, "I am completely prepared for anything that might happen. I have some coins and some cash, things to write with, a box of bandaids, stain remover, and doll clothes should we meet any small animals in need. I have a joke book, a calculator, some clothespins, and also, a small laser gun."
And her parents? Speechless.
