This past week:
- I didn't post here nearly as often as I meant to. I'll blame this on having been really, really sick. As in, spent Friday afternoon hooked up to i.v. fluids kind of sick.
- We put up a great new bird feeder and immediately had multiple pairs of cardinals as customers.
- We all realized that squirrels, though quite resourceful, are a huge annoyance.
- I decided that I probably do need to make this. And how pretty are those pictures? Very.
- Mariam picked out all of our books for the week during our regularly scheduled library trip. I've had to read all kinds of incredibly weird stuff for the last few days as a result.
- Alicia began offering pre-orders on her crewelwork sampler kit. So, so pretty. I don't do all that much handwork, but this is the sort of thing that reminds me of why I always intend to do more.
- I ran across this simple but lovely quilt pattern. Just when I thought that I had finally committed myself to another pattern. This is exactly why I can never just get a project started already.
