Yikes! I've been kind of a bad blogger this week. If it makes it at all excusable, I should probably mention that this week marked the return of my work life and all that it entails. It's extra special crazy this year because our school underwent massive construction this summer that didn't get finished on time. This means that our entire school is being temporarily housed at locations around town until the end of October. My new teaching space? The basement of a local church where my desk is reportedly going to be positioned between a pool table and sliding glass doors that open into a bowling alley. A bowling alley that I am not even allowed to use! Oh, and the ceiling appears to leak. So that's my excuse. I feel like it's a pretty good one, actually.
I did, however, want to tell any interested parties that there is a Bird and Little Bird giveaway over at Progressive Pioneer today. And, it's a good one, if I do say so myself.
