Hey, there. It would seem that I took a little bit of an unintended break from the land of functional adults this week. I'm not completely sure what happened, I just know that much of my week was spent just trying to get through the day and that by yesterday at 1:00 in the afternoon, when I finally realized that I had been walking around with some of my clothes on inside out all day long, I had become mostly non-verbal and was getting a little desperate. I think that the prime suspect here is a low-grade cold thing that I've been fighting off for the last week and a half, but I also popped some excessive amounts of vitamin D for good measure before I crashed out last night. The days are so short and dark here right now... I do finally feel ready to tackle laundry piles and tile scrubbing this morning (and it's 4 below zero outside so what else would I do?) so I think this is a good sign.
I did manage to get a few things done this week. Rabbits and foxes for the shop, mostly. Ms. Rabbit up top is the second for this group of three and this Mr. Fox is a donation for the Craft Hope for Haiti shop. He may look familiar because back in the beginning of all this fox making madness, I used this combination of fabrics pretty much always. I had just a tiny bit left and was feeling a bit nostalgic, so I decided to go with an old favorite. I think he is on his way to Denmark or something like that, so good for him.
I've actually got two more foxes finished and going out in the mail this morning as well (once the temperature is above zero. I refuse to leave the house until this happens) but they haven't been photographed yet. Taking pictures was another thing that just didn't really happen this week. I've decided, however, that it is a sunny day (even if it is freezing out and there does seem to be ice on the inside of some of our windows) and that therefore, the new week begins right now.
