I debated whether or not to post pictures of this before it is actually in the mail and received on the other end. I thought that probably I wouldn't, and then I changed my mind and well, here we are. The fabric that I printed a few days back has now been turned into a crib sized baby blanket. The intended target of this baby crafting is a dear, dear friend who is having her first baby any day now. I'm pretty pleased with life in lovely Vermont, and there isn't all that much that would have me wishing to hop a plane to California immediately but believe you me, the arrival of this baby is tempting me to no end. I'm so excited about it that I almost feel like it's my baby too. Except that I will be sleeping through the night for the forseeable future. So that's a little different.
I think that we are all somewhat aware of the fact that I struggle to get my gift crafting done in a timely fashion, so I'm feeling pretty happy with myself for finishing this up before the baby is ready to start preschool. But, the postal holiday tomorrow does mean that this could very possibly arrive post birth and therefore it was necessary to go ahead and write this post. You know, to provide photographic evidence that I am actually sending baby presents.
