First of all, apologies for the brevity of the Library Monday review this week. See, I was in a bit of a rush because I needed to finish my Charming Handbag for the Bend the Rules Sewing Swap. It was supposed to go out in the mail today and you know what? It actually did. So there.
It was a bit close though, for a myriad of reasons that I will spare you the description of. I will share the following bit of advice, however: If your husband asks to borrow your rotary cutter so that he can trim magnets for bumper stickers (even really very funny ones) you should absolutely tell him no. This is important. You may trust me when I tell you this.
On the medical school front, there has been news and then more news and there are now tough decisions to make. Dan has been accepted at a school in Pomona, CA and also at the school in Maine (Biddeford). He's on the out-of-state waiting list at the University of Vermont, and that school is certainly worth waiting for. But in the meantime, it is probably time to start really thinking about the pros and cons of the other schools and how to choose between them. Literally makes my brain ache. If anyone out there in the blogiverse has anything to say about either southern Maine or the San Gabriel Valley, please do. I'm listening.
Oh! And this is my 100th post on this here blog. Wow. Leave me a comment and I'll pick a random number on Thursday and send the winner some sort of 100th post present- a fox perhaps?
